Geena Court

Geena CourtGeena is the Principal of Short Term Accommodation and responsible for the conception of the Short Term Accommodation model. Short Term Accommodation commenced in 2009 and has expanded Australia Wide.

With nearly 30 years in the local real estate industry Geena’s experience saw an opportunity to diversify and also expand outside of the Cairns area due to the economy at the time. The desire to think outside the square, the passion for a challenge, the aspiration to create a more positive outcome for property owners and to provide an alternative to tenants, corporates and companies was Geena’s goal.

Geena was ‘Cairns Business Woman of the Year 2006’ amongst 57 other awards she has won over the years. She has been involved in the growth of Cairns with the sale of over $100m in residential property including over 50 property developments. Geena established the locally known independent real estate agency ‘Court House Realty’ in 1999 which sold its property management division in 2011 to focus on and build Short Term Accommodation. Court House Realty still maintains the sales division.

Alice thoroughly enjoys the challenge of property management and Short Term Accommodation. She relishes the versatility of the job and quality service is a high priority. Alice prides herself on going the extra mile for both property owners and tenants, earning their trust and building strong and lasting relationships. She understands the importance of her
position and acknowledges the significance to her clients, who entrust us with their most valuable asset.

Shayne Pou

Bookings Co-Ordinator

Shayne has been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and has been able to transfer her exceptional problem solving, time management and superior organisation skills into the Short Term Accommodation industry. Her personal approach is backed by a keen sense of humour and an ability to interact with people from all walks of life. With exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile, Shayne is a valuable asset to the Rentals Short Term team.
Shayne looks after the following:
– Vacate and Inventory Inspections
– Linen and Dry-Cleaning Co-ordination
– Cairns Bookings and Enquiries
– Property Inventory Purchases

Maddy Bell

Reception / Reservations Co-Ordinator

As the first point of contact at Rentals Short Term, Maddy is responsible for making that all-important excellent first impression, both in person and over the phone. Maddy has been able to fine tune her customer service skills to ensure prospective and current clients feel welcomed and comfortable. With a positive attitude and an upbeat nature she is an integral and valued part of the Rentals Short Term team.
